Imran Khan's big announcement regarding Kartarpur corridor

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has made big announcements for Indian pilgrims ahead of the inauguration of Kartarpur Corridor on 9 November.

He has given information about this by tweeting in which he has told that passport will not be required to come to Kartarpur Gurdwara nor will Indians have to register 10 days before.

He wrote in the tweet, "For Sikhs coming for pilgrimage to Kartarpur from India, I am giving two things exemption. The first exemption is that they do not need passport, they only need valid identity card and second that they need 10 days There is no need to register first. Also, there will be no fee charged on Guruji's 550th birth anniversary and inauguration day. "

It is important to note that Pakistan has made a $ 20 service fee mandatory for pilgrims coming to Kartarpur. India had requested Pakistan not to take it. However, Pakistan had said that it would not allow it.

The Government of Pakistan had invited former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for the inauguration of the Kartarpur Corridor, but he refused to accept it.

At the same time, Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu has also been invited by Pakistan for the inauguration. After this, the Ministry of External Affairs has made it clear that such people who want to personally attend the inauguration will have to get political approval first.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar said that information about the Indian batch has been shared with Pakistan, which includes many political personalities and Punjab government ministers.

He said that those who are not included in this list will have to take political approval under normal procedure.

The batch going to Kartarpur includes the names of 575 people, including former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, Union Minister Hardeep Puri.
