In response to the firing from Pakistan, the Indian Army opened its mouth of artillery and targeted terrorist camps and Pak Army bases across the Line of Control.  Army Chief General Bipin Rawat said on Sunday that in the retaliation of the Indian Army on the other side of the Tangdhar sector of Jammu and Kashmir, the terrorist structure has suffered a great loss.  Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an event here, the army chief said, "According to the information available to us 6-10 Pakistani soldiers and as many terrorists have been killed.  Three terrorist camps have been destroyed across the LoC, the fourth also suffered a major loss.

The army chief said that since the special provisions of Jammu and Kashmir were canceled, information was received about the infiltration of terrorists.  If Pakistan continues such activities, the Indian Army will not hesitate to retaliate.

Meanwhile, a highly placed source said that at least 20 militants have been killed in India's action and this figure could increase.  He said that 4 terrorist launch pads in the Neelam Valley on the other side of Tangdhar sector were completely destroyed in the firing of the Indian Army.  At that time, 10-15 terrorists were present in each hideout.  This action of the Indian Army is said to be the most important action after the Balakot attack in February.

On the other hand, Pakistani army claimed that at least 9 Indian soldiers were killed and many others were injured in the fierce firing.  However, the Indian Army denied this.  Pakistan Army spokesman Major General Asif Ghafur tweeted that Pakistan also lost one of its soldiers and 3 civilians in the clashes.

2 military martyrs: The Pakistani army had opened fire in the Tangdhar sector on Saturday evening to infiltrate the terrorists.  In this, 2 soldiers - Havildar Padam Bahadur and Rifleman Gamil Kumar were martyred.  A common citizen was also killed.
