BCCI's newly appointed president Saurabh Ganguly has indicated that contract arrangements will be made for first-class class cricketers soon. This will provide financial security to these cricketers. He said that this is his priority and he also wants to increase match fees.


BCCI President Saurabh Ganguly indicated on Monday that the contract arrangement for first-class cricketers in India will be implemented soon. With this new system, these cricketers will be given financial security. Ganguly, in his interview as BCCI president, said that the financial condition of domestic cricketers is his priority and he wants to increase match fees.
Saurabh Ganguly said that like the country's top international cricketers, there should be a well-structured payment structure for domestic cricketers. The BCCI president said, "We will bring contract arrangements for first class cricketers. We will ask the new Finance (Sub) Committee to prepare the arrangement.

He said, 'It has been only four to five days and there was a holiday of Diwali in between. I will assess everything in two weeks and decide on the future. A lot of work is going on. ' Currently, a domestic cricketer gets 25 to 30 lakh rupees annually. 35000 per day for every first class match. 13 per cent of the gross revenue generated by the BCCI from broadcasting rights is distributed among domestic cricketers.
