There are reports of clashes between lawyers and police in Delhi's Tis Hazari Court.

It is being told that there was a dispute between the policemen and lawyers on Saturday on parking.

This dispute increased and there was a clash between lawyers and policemen.

Lawyers say that the police fired during the clash but the police denied the firing.

Apart from Delhi (North), DCP Harendra Singh told about the clash, "There was a dispute between the 3rd Battalion jawan and some lawyers about parking, in the meantime some more lawyers also came there. He wanted to get inside the lock-up to take revenge. We prevented the lawyers from coming in. We kept the lock-up locked from the inside, so that the prisoners who appeared in the court along with our soldiers were also protected. The lawyers wanted to break that lock-up but when they did not succeed in it, they tried to break it by setting fire. They also set two or three bikes on fire near the gate.

Some vehicles have also been ransacked and arson and fierce commotion.

But the lawyers do not agree with the police.

Lawyers claim that one of their comrades has been injured in the skirmish, who has been admitted to the nearby St. Stephen's Hospital.

Bar Council of India chairman Manan Kumar Mishra said in a conversation with news agency ANI, "The police treated the lawyers very badly on the parking dispute. The police started firing on innocent lawyers. The Bar Council will not tolerate it at all. We have demanded from the higher police officers and the government that the accused policemen be arrested and suspended. If this does not happen, then the situation may become worse. ''

News agency ANI says that even one of his journalists was beaten up by lawyers of Tis Hazari Court.

According to the ANI, a group of lawyers are preventing journalists from covering them and also snatching their mobile phones.
