BJP made Kishan Kathore its candidate against Patole

The Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election was uncontested today. Nana Patole was elected unopposed speaker from Maha Vikas Aghadi. BJP had fielded Kishan Kathore as its candidate against Patole, but withdrew his candidature. Maharashtra BJP President Chandrakant Patil said that BJP yesterday nominated Kishan Kathore for the post of Maharashtra Assembly Speaker. But, following the request of the new government, we have decided to withdraw the candidature of Kathore. The decision was taken by Protem Speaker Dilip Valse Patil, who convened an all-party meeting to be elected as speaker today.

Uddhav government's cabinet to expand in first week of December

Apart from the election of the speaker, now the cabinet of the Uddhav government has to be expanded.

In which 14 ministers can take oath. According to sources, the Uddhav government will consist of 16 Shiv Sena ministers, including CM, 15 NCP ministers and 12 Congress ministers.
According to the information, Shiv Sena will get the Ministry of Urban Development, Housing, Irrigation and Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation.

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Finance Planning, Power and Forests will come to NCP's account.
While the Congress is likely to get the Revenue, PW, and Excise Ministries. The decision on the Ministry of Industry, Education and Health has not been made yet.
Maha Vikas Aghadi is stepping in as he knows that if one of the three parties gets angry, then the matter will get worse.
