After the snow fall in Himachal people are not taking the name of the problems. Two people died due to being buried in the snow and many were injured due to slipping. Normal life has been severely affected in the higher regions due to the snowfall. In Shetadhar in Mandi district, a young man died in snow, while a person from village Kharoti in Dewri Khadh near Haripur Dhar in Sirmaur district died after slipping on ice.

People vulnerable to cold wave SNOW fall

Due to snow, the roads have become slippery due to snow, in which many people were injured. People are facing difficulties due to the movement of vehicles. In Shimla, people slipped and got injured due to snowfall on the roads.

Everyday a large number of people are arriving at IGMC and Deendayal Upadhyay hospitals for treatment. These days the state is in the grip of cold wave. In the tribal districts of Lahaul Spiti and Kinnaur, the minimum mercury has reached very below zero. The mercury in Keylong today was minus 16.4 degrees Celsius, the lowest temperature this season. Similarly, Kalpa minus 5.0 degree, Manali minus 2.8 degree, Kufri minus 1.0 degree, Sundernagar 0.1 degree, Bhuntar -0.8 degree, Chamba 0.8 degree, Solan 1.0 degree, Palampur and Shimla 2.5 degree, Dalhousie 3.1 degree , 3.4 degrees Celsius in Mandi and 2.6 degrees Celsius in Dharamsala.
