After the removal of Article 370 from Kashmir, the number of martyrs decreased, 32 terrorists killed


After the withdrawal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, 32 terrorists have been killed and 10 terrorists have been arrested.  Along with this, there has been a decrease of 73 percent in the figures of the security forces for getting the heroism.  Minister of State for Home  Kishan Reddy gave this information in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday (5 February).

 He said that during this time 19 civilians have been killed in terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir.  He said that there are currently 437 people in preventive custody in Jammu and Kashmir, including no minors.  At the same time, a total of 6,605 people have been detained since August 5, including ground works for anti-social elements, stone pelting and terrorists.

 On the other hand, the government on Wednesday (5 February) said in the Lok Sabha that the amended Citizenship Act (CAA) and removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir has been conveyed to the international community.  In a written reply to a question in the House, Minister of State for External Affairs V Muralitharan said that the result of contact by the government was that many countries asked Pakistan not to allow its territory to be used for terrorism.

He said that India's position has been appreciated that the CAA is a positive step and its aim is to diagnose a long pending issue and there will be no impact on the citizenship of any citizen of India or a person of interest.  In a written reply to another question, Muralitharan said that between April 2018 and September 2019, Indians living abroad have sent $ 118.3 billion to India.  He also said that available said that 1.32 crore Indians live abroad.
