Kolkata: BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya detained


BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya has been detained for taking out a rally in West Bengal's Tollyganj Ferry in support of the Citizenship Amendment Act.  Police allege that the BJP leader did not take permission for the rally.

 Rally was being carried out without the permission of the police

 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya, who is holding a rally in support of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), has been detained.  The rally was scheduled to begin at Tollygunge Ferry in Kolkata.  As soon as the BJP leaders started the rally, then the Kolkata Police detained all the leaders.

Please tell that Kailash Vijayvargiya was taking out Abhinandan rally in support of CAA and for this he did not even take permission from the police.  This is why the police detained him.

 According to the police, 'BJP leaders allegedly wanted to organize the march without the permission of the police after which they were detained in a police van and taken away from the venue'.

 BJP Bengal in-charge Kailash Vijayvargiya was detained by Kolkata Police during the 'Abhinandan Yatra' in support of CAA in South Kolkata.  Vijayvargiya along with Mukul Roy was participating in the rally being held here in support of CAA.
