Hanging of culprits for the third time

Nirbhaya Case: Patiala House Court has banned the execution of all the convicts of the Nirbhaya gangrape murder tomorrow.  The court has stayed the execution of all the culprits till further orders.  The Patiala House Court deferred the execution because the mercy petition of one of the four convicts, Pawan, is pending with the President.  The court said that in such a situation when Pawan Kumar Gupta's mercy petition is pending, it cannot be hanged.  This is the third time the hanging of the culprits has been banned.  Let us know that the date of hanging was first fixed on 22 January.  After this, the date of hanging was fixed on 1 February.  However, the lawyer for the convicts had it canceled by applying legal stipulation.

After the hanging, Nirbhaya's mother Asha Devi attacked the system over this, and she told the news agency ANI that it shows the failure of the system.

He said, 'Why is the court taking so much time to follow its own order to hang the culprits.  Repeated hanging shows the failure of our system.  Our entire system protects criminals.  Earlier, the Supreme Court dismissed the curative petition of Pawan, the fourth convict of Nirbhaya gang rape and murder.  The Supreme Court refused to ban the hanging on Tuesday.

Earlier, Pawan Gupta's lawyer AP Singh said that we have filed Pawan's mercy petition with the President.  The lawyer claimed that retired Justice Katju told him that he would meet the President to stop the hanging.  AP Singh said that according to the jail manual, it cannot be executed.  '

During the hearing, the court also reprimanded the lawyer for the culprits.  The court rebuked and said, 'You are playing with fire, you should be alert.'  The court told the lawyer that 'If someone took a wrong step, you know the consequences.'
