Samsung Galaxy M40 news of Android 10 based One UI 2.0




This update of Samsung Galaxy M40 is 1.74 GB. It comes with a March 1 security patch. The changelog is not explained in detail with the update.


Samsung is reported to be releasing Android 10 based One UI 2.0 update for its Samsung Galaxy M40 smartphone. This update comes with the M405FDDU2BTB5 software version. With this, the security patch of March 2020 has also been given. Like the Samsung Galaxy M20 and Samsung Galaxy M30, the Samsung Galaxy M40 will get the core version of the update. It is not a full version of One UI 2.0. This means that the phone will have all the basic features of Android 10. But some features will be missing.

This update of Samsung Galaxy M40 is 1.74 GB. It comes with a March 1 security patch. The changelog is not explained in detail with the update. According to Sammobile, the phone will get the regular Android 10 update, which brings with it better dark mode, smart replays, better privacy and location controls. The core update means that the phone will not have features such as a built-in screen recorder.

Pre-installed apps like calculator, Samsung Internet, Samsung Health and Samsung Notes have been updated. Users will also have to update these apps separately after the OS update. This dual-sim phone has a USB Type-C port and supports Bluetooth 5. The Galaxy M40 is sold in Seawater Blue and Midnight Blue and its initial price is Rs 17,990.
