Registration starts for Haj, know what are the new rules this time

The Ministry of Minority Affairs has informed that the Haj Yatra of 2021 will be done according to the guidelines of the Government of Saudi Arabia in view of the Kovid-19 epidemic.

According to the newspaper Hindustan Times, under these new guidelines, the age of Hajis can be banned.

Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has said that online registration has started from Saturday for the next year's Haj pilgrimage. Registration can be done by 10 December.

The newspaper writes that the Haj pilgrimage was not organized this year due to the Corona epidemic.

According to the newspaper, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, "Those who wish to go to Haj can apply online for this. Due to Corona epidemic, it is obligatory for all applicants to submit the negative report of Corona (RT-PCR test report). The date of the Corona Test must be 72 hours before the flight to Saudi Arabia. "

Like the rules of the year 2020, women can go for Haj without any male family.

According to the newspaper, the ministry has said that instead of 21 this time, flights will be run from 10 places for Haj. These places are - Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Cochin, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Srinagar.

The Minority Ministry, Ministry of Health, Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Haj Committee of India have made these new guidelines after discussing with the Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia and the Indian Counsel General in Jeddah.
